Marriage and Family Therapy has been a real passion of mine for over a decade. Since falling in love with this profession, I have worked hard in building my skill set as a Marriage and Family Therapist to be the best for my clients.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology: Pre-Counseling at Oklahoma Baptist University in 2011. I then earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University in 2014. I have been practicing as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2015.

I typically draw from the theory created by Dr. Sue Johnson called Emotion Focused Therapy.  I find that it is the most helpful theory that guides me in leading couples to healing and success in their relationships. I have helped couples with a variety of struggles including infidelity, trust, and difficulty in communication.

As your therapist, I will make sure our time in therapy is a safe place where you and your spouse feel heard and understood. Putting words to our emotions can be really hard, so I find that helping my clients find meaning behind their emotions helps to better understand and define them. This leads to effective communication.

So, whatever it is that brought you to this page today, I'm glad you're here. Whether you are seeking couples therapy, or individual therapy, I am ready to start the process of reaching your goals with you. Your courage in seeking therapy is something I admire and recognize as no small feat. Therapy can feel scary-its a pretty vulnerable process, after all! I promise to make sure our sessions are a safe place that builds your confidence in sharing those vulnerabilities.  If you have more questions about the process, please give me a call.

I look forward to meeting with you!
